My name is Zo Marguerite, sole artisan behind this shop. I'm a multidisciplanary maker and stay at home mama who's always been captivated by whimsy and small treasures that bring

 a sense of enchantment into a world that often feels otherwise. 
                                                                                                                                               I believe that the science of creation can feel like a form of magic, and that belief guides me in my creative process. Within my cozy home workshop, I create each piece, each "Glimmer", 

by hand, utilizing raw fragments of colored glass which I then kiln fuse and coldwork to form them into one of a kind charms. 
"Glimmerhold Artistry" as a name was inspired by the theory "Glimmer Moments"; micro-moments of joy that can help calm the nervous system. My intention is that these creations may inspire that response in those who collect them.

My background includes illustration, mural work, fine art, art education and theatrical design, and I hold a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and Arts Management from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. These experiences anchor my approach to my craft; patient, hands on, and always curious.

Glimmerhold is my newest exploration into glasswork, a craft I have collected and admired for as long as I can remember, and its myriad ways of melding in heat and holding on to feeling.
